My name is Benny James McDonald, I was born and raised in Bastrop Louisiana, I left Bastrop in 1986, I now live in Thomasville NC. I grew up in a large family with 6 brothers and 7 sisters. There was always music playing in our house. My father and mother both played guitar. I learn to play at a early age. In 2006 I was diagnose with cancer. While in the hospital I met my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I became music director at Triad Cowboy Church and started writing gospel music. Thats where I met  James Larry Osborn and his son James Bryan Osborn and his daughter Caroline.
