Raised on the Central Coast of California in the rolling hills ranch country of Atascadero, CA., Chuck Brown grew up loving the music of yesteryear. His mother was a choir singer with an angelic voice who loved to praise the Lord and Chuck inherited his mother's talen and affinity for Gospel music. After serving his country proudly as a Marine, Chuck came into the music world by singing in Palm Springs and along the Central Coast. Unfortunately when Chuck's beloved mother died of cancer in 1994, Chuck stopped singing for several years. He met his lovely wife Sheila in a local church while he was living in Santa Maria, CA. She inspired him to start his singing career again and they started a music entertainment business called "Nostalgic Productions" and went on to perform all over the Western and Central States. After performing in such places as Las Vegas and Branson, MO., Chuck's love of Gospel music never left him. He sang Gospel music to warm up for all his practice and actual performances. He started doing an all Elvis Southern Gospel concert format, bringing songs known and loved by audiences all over back to hear songs they had not heard in a long time. He loved to invoke the special memoriesand touch people's hearts and he still often entertains for seniors, hospices and assisted living homes to bring the Gospel message into those sometimes forgotten. In 2009, Chuck and Sheila decided to write their own Country Gospel song entitled "His Love For Me". "The words just came to us so easily and everything came together so well we knew it had to be from the Lord", said Sheila, his wife. With Bayou Studios in Nashville producing the music segments with some members of Reba McEntire's back-up band, and TNT Studios in Santa Maria, CA. doing the vocal recording, Chuck was also able to secure Denise Paulus, a former back-up singer of Barbara Streisand to do the background vocals. Ms. Paulus was a very dedicated Christian which he had prayed for to accompany him on the recording. After a two year odyssey including copyright and waiting and praying for the right time to release the song, finally "His Love For Me" is now being launched and available. Chuck looks forward to his next project and hopes to bring inspiration and joy to those whose hearts are touched by the song for your and the Lord's listening pleasure.
